Teacher Spotlight: Shana Robertson

For over eight years, Shana Robertson has been a warm and steady presence in the classroom at Mountain Phoenix Community School. As an assistant teacher, she nurtures our youngest learners with kindness, patience, and a deep respect for childhood’s natural rhythm in the Honeybees classroom.

Here Shana beautifully captures the essence of our goal at MPCS: “My favorite thing about Waldorf education is that it doesn’t rush childhood and allows children to come into academics naturally through play and time in nature! Mother Nature is an amazing teacher if we listen.”

Her dedication shines in the way she supports the children—whether guiding them through daily rhythms, fostering creativity through play, or simply offering a comforting presence. We are beyond grateful for her years of service, her deep care, and the joy she brings to our community.
