Here are a few highlights from the December 9 regular meeting of the Governing Council:

• The decision was made to distribute an updated draft of the MPCS mission and vision statements for public comment.
• The Foundation reported a great response from our community on December 8, Colorado Gives Day, with donations to the school totaling approximately $51K.
• Two new governing policies were approved with the aim of improving the GC’s effectiveness in their roll as financial stewards of the school. These will be available soon for public review on the MPCS website.
• The GC approved an Early Childhood Program Curriculum Summary for use at our school.
