Preschool (PK3)

Our PK classrooms are mixed ages 3 & 4.

  • Full-Day: Mon/Wed/Fri
  • Full-Day: Tues/Thurs 

Preschool (PK4)

Our PK classrooms are mixed ages 3 & 4.

  • Full-Day: Monday through Friday
  • Half-Day: Monday through Friday

Kindergarten

Our KG classrooms are mixed ages 5 & 6.

  • Full Day:  Monday through Friday
  • Napping House After Care: Mon through Thurs: 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Our tuition rates reflect the exceptional Waldorf early childhood experience that families desire. We are fortunate to be able to hire and support fully-trained Waldorf teachers, as well provide low child to teacher ratios, healthy snacks, and high quality toys and equipment. To help offset these costs to our families, we offer a tuition assistance option, participate in UPK (Universal Preschool), and accept CCCAP.

Tuition Assistance Options

Our school accepts Universal Preschool Colorado (UPK) for children who are PK4.

CCCAP is a parent-driven process. We suggest families look into this process in conjunction with being offered a spot.

Universal Preschool Colorado (UPK) 

We accept UPK for PK4.

We are now active in 4 counties for CCCAP: Jefferson, Denver, Adams and Douglas!

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP)

Mountain Phoenix accepts CCCAP for families with ages up to 12 or children with additional care needs under 19 years of age. The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) helps families that are homeless, working, searching for work or in school find low-income child care assistance. If you are eligible, a portion of the total childcare cost will be paid directly to your provider. You will be required to pay a portion of the child care cost based on family size and income.

Preschool and Kindergarten Calendar

MPCS programs, including Preschool, are open on school days only.  

Preschool Program Hours (2024-25)

Half-day PK: Monday through Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Full-day PK: Monday through Thursday: 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m, Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Kindergarten Program Hours (2024-25)

Full-day KG:  Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Napping House KG After Care: Monday through Thursday: 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

If You Are Late for Pickup or Drop Off

If you are running late, please contact the Main Office as soon as possible.

We understand that situations arise and therefore we offer a 5 minute grace period.

After that time, your child will be waiting for you in the Main Office.

Because of our limited parking, we suggest that you give yourself ample time to ensure prompt pick up your child(ren)

Early Childhood Enrollment & Withdrawal

Clarification About the Kindergarten Cut-off Date

In the state of Colorado, a student is considered a kindergartener if they are 5 years old by October 1st. 

Upon Confirmation of Preschool Enrollment

After you accept a PK spot through EnrollJeffco, you will be contacted by the school to complete the following steps:

Sign a contract & Pay the last month deposit fee

Withdrawal from MPCS

All Preschool Programs, PK3 & PK4 are tuition based and details for withdrawal are outlined on the contract.
