Student Musicians

In order to participate, students need to:

  • Pay for a ticket to the game (at a discounted rate)
  • Learn the music
  • Attend one after school rehearsal on April 20th 3:30-5:00pm in the Great Hall
  • Must ride the bus that leaves at 4:30 p.m. (much cheaper than parking downtown). Space on the bus costs $3/student.

Transportation

Performers must travel together on a school bus that will leave from MOUNTAIN PHOENIX COMMUNITY SCHOOL 4725 miller street Wheat Ridge, Co. The bus will LEAVE the school at 4:30 p.m., and will return before 9:00 p.m. Performers can be signed out from Mr. Perez after the performance and allowed to return home with parents.

Instruments

All instruments must stay on the bus after the performance, so performers who go home with parents or others will have to pick up their instrument the next day from Mountain Phoenix. Performers who ride the bus back to Mountain Phoenix will be able to take their instruments home that night. There is no exception to this please don’t ask, Coors field considers instruments dangerous and will not allow them into the stadium.  This was a huge cause of problems in the past and absolutely no exceptions to this rule will be made. I will personally make sure all instruments left on the bus are stored inside the school in a dry safe place.

Entrance Details

We will take a VIP entrance for performing and will be asked to leave the field directly after performing to re-enter through the normal entrance gates.
