Adult Mental Health First Aid is an innovative, 8-hour course designed to give you the tools to recognize a range of mental health problems and the skills and confidence to help someone in a mental health crisis. The program offers a concrete action plan to help someone in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer and self-help care.
This training is meant for our greater community. The Youth Mental Health First Aid Training is a specific training for faculty and staff at this time on Monday November 20th meant for people who work with or are around youth ages 12-18. That is another registration. Staff can come to the November 11th training in lieu of the Youth training if there is interest but only faculty/staff are invited to the training on the 20th at this time.
If you want to attend the November 11th Adult Mental Health First Aid Training but have a scheduling conflict, we will be hosting another training in the spring or you can attend any of the other trainings in our state that are open to the public. http://www.mhfaco.org/findclass
